Strayer, Chapter 15 (pp.433-488)
The Atlantic Slave Trade was a global problem that is still talked amongst people today. The issue and question that people ask is why didn't land owners pay these slaves and treat them with dignity. The land owners figured out that the could make more profit by having slaves crop their products for free and make 100% profit from the product they sell because they didn't have to pay the slaves for their labor. Asia has a growing interest and recovery time from the disaster Black Death. During the 15 century the Europeans population started growing again. These four main countries Spain, Portugal, England, and France started taxing people more effectively to help build their military and create better weapons.
